About me
A story with a kick
After studying to be a bookseller and working in various jobs that were more for food than my real passion, I decided in 2022 to leave my comfort zone and take the bull by the horns! I then launched into the adventure of creating a vacation camp for pets, a place where I could live each day, each moment with my faithful furry friends and offer this serenity to others by welcoming them "as at home".
For 13 years, my two dogs Freyja, an energetic, intrepid and strong-willed Weimaraner and the courageous Diana, a Labrador calm but no less mischievous spirit; allowed me to discover the canine universe, its language, its needs, sometimes also its difficulties.
Present by my side every day, a real friendship was woven between them and me. We became inseparable, and the adage "where you go I'll go" proved true. They followed me at every turn of my life, faithful and confident.
Merlin the cat, abandoned by his former owner who left him on the spot after having moved, and who had become wild and distrustful by force of circumstance, was grafted to the duo thereafter. We had to tame him and give him back his trust in humans by using patience, pate and lots of cuddles! After three years of progressive reacclimatization, he became Freyja's best friend.
Who would have believed it ?!
It is with a lot of love, patience and the desire to give the best to my four-legged friends that the desire to train me and offer a Pet Sitting service at home was born.
As an animal lover and owner, I have known the worry of leaving my animals at home all day without them being able to go out during my long working day, because no infrastructure was in my sector and sometimes my holiday destination did not allow me to take them either.
I therefore understand the expectations of all those who have a small companion.
Thus, after obtaining the certificate of Transport of Live Animals in September 2022, the certificate of capacity for pets (dog, cat, NAC) in October 2022 and months of work,Les amis de FREYDIA (combination of the first names of my two dogs) has matured and will open its doors for the 2023 summer season.
It's a real dream come true for me !
Today, I dedicate my life to ensuring that every animal is confident and fulfilled in all situations by providing solutions to common problems faced by pet owners. However, I continue to learn by training myself as a canine coach and behaviorist in order to be the best Pet Sitter possible.
